Half maximal inhibitory concentration (IC 50 ). IC50 value was determined by the broth culture method. Piperine concentrations of 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, 130, 140, 150 μM were used and compared to DMSO treated control. IC50 value was determined as 115 μM by percentage of inhibition was plotted on nonlinear regression from logarithmic concentrations of piperine versus normalized response with variable slope. The image is representative of three independent experiments and bars represent means ± SEM.
