Effect of piperine on H. pylori 60190 adhesin and flagellar molecules. H. pylori was treated with various concentrations of piperine and expression of adhesion and flagellar genes analyzed by reverse transcriptase PCR. An integral component of the flagellar export apparatus encoding gene flhA and flagellar hook component encoding gene flgE expression was diminished in piperine treatment in a dose dependent manner.
