The reference strains from the cervical site (DQ059013-Mauritius, MF288654.1-Netherlands, LC509001.1-Japan, MK813935.1-Korea, MH057747.1-Saudi Arabia) were quite similar and clustered with some of our cervical HPV L1 sequences in cluster 1; the reference strain from sperm (MN689568.1 -Iran) was found in cluster 2 were majority of the L1 sequences from the nasopharynx clustered and cluster 3 and 4 had a majority of the cervical LI sequences
